AT HOME: Easy Meals

Since Jim is an endless pit when it comes to food I’m all about easy meals every once in awhile. Luckily there are easy alternatives to some of the intricate meals I’ve attempted [and succeeded at].

There’s this place out here called Papa Murphy’s and it’s pretty awesome. It’s a pizza place but instead of cooking it there you take it home and cook it. You pick your toppings, crust, size, etc and they throw it on a fresh pizza dough. You take it home and pop it in the oven. It’s fresh, delicious and your house ends up smelling like homemade pizza. You really can’t beat it. I bought a large pizza with bacon, cheese and veggies for $8.

Another incredibly easy meal is a stir fry. I found some nifty Asian noodles at the market, bought some sliced up sirloin, summer squash, zucchini, snow peas, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, broccoli, cauliflower and shredded carrots. Fry those bad boys up with some olive oil, garlic and soy sauce and you have a deliciously healthy meal.
